Stop paying per seat for a phone your whole team shares.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need my own Twilio account?

Yes. Ringpost connects to your own Twilio Account SID and Auth Token, you register your own numbers, and Twilio bills you directly for usage. Ringpost never resells numbers or marks up Twilio costs.

How is this different from OpenPhone, Aircall, or Dialpad?

Those charge per seat on top of what you pay for calling/texting. Ringpost is a flat $10/month per team after the beta, regardless of team size, and you pay Twilio directly for actual usage instead of a bundled/marked-up rate.

Is it free right now?

Yes, entirely free during the current beta, no credit card required. After the beta it becomes $10/month flat per team.

What happens if a call or text doesn't get answered?

New conversations auto-assign round robin across your team by default, and anything still unanswered past a configurable threshold gets flagged and can auto-reassign, instead of sitting unclaimed.

Is there a limit on team members or phone numbers?

No per-seat pricing and no per-number surcharges. The flat monthly fee is the same whether your team has 3 numbers or 30.

Is my Twilio Account SID and Auth Token safe?

Yes. Your Auth Token is encrypted at rest (AES-256), only decrypted server-side when needed to place a call or send a text through your own Twilio account, and never sold or shared.

How long does setup take?

A couple of minutes if you already have a Twilio account: paste your Account SID and Auth Token, then pick or buy a number. Don't have a Twilio account yet? Creating one takes a bit longer, but Twilio's console walks you through it.
